I am connected to the Kingsbridge/Spuyten Duyvil area on my father's side. My 2x great grandfather Hugh McCauley (b. 1830 in Moville, Ire, d. 1906, Bronx) arrived in Spuyten Duyvil in 1868. He worked as a moulder at the Johnson Foundry and raised a family of seven, including my great grandfather Patrick Henry McCauley (b. 1861 in New Haven, d. 1948 in Brooklyn). Hugh and his wife Rose Dillon (b. 1834 in Ire, d. 1900, Bronx) are buried in St Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers. I am interested in learning more about the Kingsbridge/Spuyten Duyvil area and it's history and connecting with others who share similar interests. Looking forward to connecting with others, Dan
