The first thing that struck me in the restaurant dining room was how far apart the tables are spaced. Easier for servers and easier for diners getting seated or leaving the table. We certainly don’t see that today.
Nice work, Stephanie! As a native of the Whitestone/Flushing area of Queens, I was curious about the “Federal Building” that the Lehman story refers to as a noteworthy design during the Depression. As it happens, it’s the Flushing Post Office, built between 1932 – 1934. I know this is off-topic Riverdale-wise, but I thought that other former Queens folks might be interested.

I see I was mistaken about the name of a housing development vs present day Riverdale Park. Thank you, Nick, for correcting me.
I’m sure you’re doing a geographical search, but if you’re using the name Along-the-Hudson Park, that could be at least part of the problem. It’s called Riverdale Park. Regardless, as you know, anything you learn would be welcome to all of us. Oh, and there are two houses where the park stops and then restarts. That history would be interesting too.
