Enjoy an evening of 18th-century tavern revelry with live music, beer, games, trivia, and snacks at the Van Cortlandt House Museum.

Guests are welcomed into the historic house beginning at 4:30 PM to enjoy beer, cider, and wine alongside tavern snacks inspired by the eighteenth century, try their hand at traditional games like skittles and mancala, and settle in as the atmosphere fills with music and conversation. Local historian Nick Dembowski serves as master of ceremonies for the evening, guiding the festivities while sharing stories about the role taverns played in colonial New York.

At 5:30 PM, test your knowledge during a round of historical trivia inspired by the history of local public houses. The winner will take home a Van Cortlandt House Museum swag bag valued at $100.

The evening concludes with a special live performance by Linda Russell and Company (6:00–6:45 PM), bringing the sounds and spirit of the Revolutionary era to life.

Come ready to mingle, play, and enjoy a taste of colonial tavern culture in one of New York’s oldest historic houses.
