        I saw this in an issue of the Riverdale News from the 1930s and I thought it was pretty cool:

        This is a retouched photo:

        I imagine there were a number of local places that had soda fountains.  This was Greystone Pharmacy at W. 236th and Riverdale Avenue.  This may be a stupid question but what is with “Halifax” below?

        A while back I saw this postcard for sale:

        I do not know how long it was in business for.  And the view today:

          My memory is shot but I do remember someone who owned this Pharmacy had a child who became famous,  Maybe as a radio or tv announcer ?
