    I found this press photo on Ebay of the World War I encampment in Van Cortlandt Park – 1913.

    I am not 100% sure where this is but I think it is where the Park Hill branch of the railroad used to cut through the park.  I think that the underpass behind the artillery piece is Mosholu Ave, which used to cut across the park.  I am basing that assumption on this map:

    I think this depicts the area under the word “Van” in the map.
